WE MISS OUR OLD BLOGGERS


We need the old faces here.  We know some of you are Tossblogging away in your new names. The hunt for hokeykokeyalex is driving me insane. OK  then, I will retract my earlier remarks: Manchester is not the capital of Yorkshire. There, is that better, HKA? 

Keep in mind that there is no such thing as 'off-topic' here. Please feel free to discuss anything and everything that takes your fancy. 


My aerial has packed up again and I will not be able to TOSwatch tonight.

    The bare bones of it are that at least you will not be subjected to Davina's rapier like wit.I still hear the sickly "all your grey Mother" from that advert. I am ensuring I can hit the mute button in pitch darkness before the show starts. Toswatch does sound soooooooo naughty, I love it when you talk dirty to us, lol.

    Blogs 12 , 48 , 81. Too childish for words - we have met him before.

    Most damning blog for some time...the presenters, their clothes, the guest, Kaye adams bias and so it goes on.

    astroplums, your #2006: The BBC has produced some of the world's best television, and still does. I believe the the BBC to be the finest broadcaster in the world. I respect it. Therefore, it amazes me why TOS is tolerated. The show is of a consistently poor standard. I cannot overlook the possibility that someone high up has a vested interest in keeping the show on the air. It most certainly is not kept there for the benefit of its audience.

    Danish people love the BBC programs. Especially the wildlife, comedy and drama. The only reason we continue to watch British TV, mainly the BBC, is because you just can't beat it for quality. With the exception of TOS and the soaps.

    astroplums, your 2010: Is templar66 at #141 0n tosblog Bordeauxmalc? He tells us that he has an American wife. Google analytics shows that our site is getting visits from Washington DC.

    JH, your comment re the vicar put me in mind of a very unfortunate experience I had with our vicar. He was at my home one afternoon, as usual on the scrounge for contributions, I supplied him with the obligatory [in his case] whisky and nibbles, but was intrigued to see his gaze constantly straying to a rather lovely girondelle on the wall opposite his chair. It was not for some time that I realised my wicked stepson had removed the candle and replaced it with an ornate vibrator!!!! The afternoon progressed with neither of us prepared to acknowledge the thing, and with me on the verge of hysterics. How we laughed the next day when I collared Nick about his "prank".

    For some reason best known to themselves or Host Officious, the moderators are now removing my posts from the Bernard Cribbins Show. Can it be that my attitude is what they do not like, as posts on later blogs, which are equally or much further off topic, but by persons other than myself, are being allowed to stand.

    Jadedoldie your1237:I think the truth is that whoever is going through these blogs is in a complete mess. They have lost track of what they are doing. I suspect that few other blogs cause the BBC so much trouble. Improving TOS would help.

    Many complaints re the 'Toffs' piece. Will they take any notice of the blogs or do they just attend to emails? Still find it hard to believe that they get 10,000 emails per night, as claimed by CB.

    I have just been reading about the unpleasant little "rapper" who sent threatening texts to a listener of the Chris Moyles radio show. Apparently the listener, a young lady, had sent a text which was critical of the rapper. The yob was then able to "acquire" her number and proceed to terroise her. My first question, why are the BBC so careless with personal details of those who correspond with them, and secondly, why is the "rapper" not in court? Unbelievable!!!
