An Improvement?

 Duck

Over the last few weeks I have started to enjoy the feature items. They have improved in subject, content and style.

On the other hand, the two presenters are often silly and patronising. This irritates me.

Michael Flatley last night came across as supercilious. His mawkish speech about family and fatherhood would go down well with American audiences; but it does not work here. If this incident was staged then the editor should be taken out and shot then the crew will really have something to cry about.

We are told the CB intends to stay with the BBC. Importantly, the BBC will not pay her the inflated fee that  ITV had allegedly promised. Never the less she is wise to stay. If CB is prepared to work hard, which frankly I doubt, then the BBC will lick her into shape. The BBC has much that it can teach her [not least how to read an autocue] .CB is well shot of the malign influence of Adrian Chiles, whose motives towards her are suspect.

The Face Of 2012 - yeah right

  1. My goodness, todays DM online article has really brought out the worst in the posters. If she reads that she has to be affected, otherwise she is not human. Hardly a good word.

  2. Astroplums, Your 1346: That is true. I read the comments myself. I think it is the case that the viewers can recognise a fake when they see one and they don't like being conned.

The BBC can teach CB how to do the job she is being paid to do, that is providing she can summon up the humility to learn. I have my doubts about her and suspect she prefers a quicker and easier route to riches. She may even picture herself playing Victoria to Frank's David.

  3. All becomes clear, the cuts to TOS's website, like so many other cuts the BBC have attempted to make, which I note affect only the licence payer and not BBC's staff, were all to save our pennies to pay this person some hideous amount of money to continue irritating us!!!! I rarely watch ITV, and never watch daytime ITV so please CB I beg you, migrate to their channel and LEAVE ME ALONE!

  4. As usual, there is always someone else who is able to say what I think better than I can manage to do.CB has made it to the Telegraph. It's an interesting article that confirms my suspicions.

  5. As yet, have not seen the Telegraph article. However, note that the BBC have been quick to state that they have not offered her the vast salary suggested in yesterdays rags. They did point out that although a 'good presenter, she's not that good'in reference to the pay offer.

I think both she and the Beeb were given a hammering yesterday, hence the Beeb being quick off the blocks to quell this nonsense.

  8. Oops, forgot to mention that CB won presenter of the year thro' 'Glamour' magazine last night.

    Well done, girl.

To be voted by readers of 'Glamour' presenter of the year must herald her arrival to full WAG CHAV status. She must be thrilled.

I've never read it, so will take your word that it is Chav world.

  11. Just watched C4's 'Come dine with me' with 4 wags. God help me! Never have I witnessed such bad taste, created by a bunch if dummies.

CB, if you read this, my one piece of advice would be - "You will be judged by the company you keep".

Glamour is not a magazine I would subscribe to but CB's award lead me to the magazine website and oh yes, it is definitely a mag for the chavs.

  14. Interesting that TOS didn't show Lampard missing a penalty.

CB is getting a bit overexcited about it all.

  15. Has the England Manager banned the WAGS from the World Cup camp?

I believe so. The whole World Cup thing is so overhyped that I have lost interest already.

john grisham looked so bemused,i felt sorry for him.
matt has taken over from adrian in the miserable look role.

Nice to hear from you again.

I agree with your sentiments about the show tonight - the content was purile. The producer also needs locking up for allowing the Bleak one to become utterly self indulgent.Stop gloating CB,it's becoming silly. Lost all respect for her.

  20. adrian is gone...the viewing figures go up.
i remember all those on the old official blog that said the show could not survive without him.
then doom and gloom people tell us the same about CB.
I have said all along rotate the presenters then no presenter becomes(or thinks they are)bigger than the show.
why did the original blog finish...???
was it because they new what was going to happen and didnt want us having our say?
i miss you all....it was good fun.

  21. she should have spent 5 minutes punching the air,,,then 5 more just sniggering !!!!!

  22. Hokey

When she first started I thought she was a breath of fresh air, but she has now become a publicity junkie who just has to be centre of attention. Find her uncomfortable to watch now.

  23. No TOS for some weeks.

Will we have CB free rags for the same period or will she engineer publicity to keep her profile to the fore?

    I'll bet on the latter.

  24. Was it my imagination or did Chris Evans look somewhat sheepish in the back of the campervan? He quickly covered his face with a book. On seeing him CB just added a few decibels to her silly giggle. Surprisingly the opportunity was not taken to mention that he would be joining the team after the summer break.

TOS may be on their summer break but you are correct in betting that CB would not be out of the rags.

Strangely the paparazzi happened to be laying in wait outside Chelsea FC for CB to leave. Being a VIP WAG she has a key to Chelsea FC gym.

Coleen Rooney had better move over as it looks like she might lose her title 'Queen of the WAGS'.

  27. Strange how the paps know when she leaves home and where she is going.

She's a shy retiring little soul.

Holly Willoughby and her ilk don't get 'caught' like this. Perhaps that's why Bleakley is always on the phone - telling the press where she will be next.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Astroplums, your 1509: She's still at it, this time in the Telegraph. This is a crude attempt to play one off against the other. But to be fair, what else can she do bearing in mind that she has no discernible talent.

It is like a teenage girl, who on suddenly discovering that she is pretty, decides to play the boys off against each other. But the winner soon discovers that his prize has little of any substance to offer.

That I think is similar to the story in the Mirror, which has been taken from 'Glamour Magazine'. The pic of her proves that she now is a fully paid up WAG. Skirt round her ass routine.

I wish the some pap would photograph the paps shooting her as she leaves everywhere, to show just how silly this circus has become. For Gods sake she is nothing more than eye candy (for some, certainly not all the DM posters!) TV presenter. She just isn't worth this. I think the BBC may just get a bit peed off with it all and tell her to go elsewhere. Mind you, maybe they are not that bright.

  30. Interesting story in the DM online about James Corden , the comedian and Patrick Stewart and the dust up they had the other night.

A salutory lesson in letting things to ones head allowing egotism to get the better of you.

    Read it CB!

Last sentence should read "...letting things go to ones head..."
