WHERE SHALL WE PLACE TOS

I have read the that BBC is split into four divisions: Knowledge, Fiction, Entertainment and Children's Fiction. Does TOS fit any of these, or does it require its own unique division?

From reading the Red tops it would appear that CB is becoming a so called celebrity. Which is a pity. I thought she had the makings of a good Presenter provided she had the will to work at it. But I suppose being a WAG is an easier option. If all else fails a WAG can always just take the money and run.

  1. I have no idea what has gone wrong with the type style and colour above. This blog editor has got its knickers in a twist. I can't hang around to try and fix it because my food is waiting downstairs.

  2. I am not sure that is the TOS editor in your caption. In fact it may well be CB running from a eatery in the dead of night. Ah! the subtefuge, designed to keep a low profile, but in fact always does the opposite. I noted with interest that the mother of his children called CB an 'irrelevance'.

  3. Where have Highland Fling, HKA and all the guys gone? I hope the TOS ship is not being abandoned.

Mind you, having looked again, there are many more contentious ones than the one you had removed.

Your right, I didn't think of that.

I can't understand what I said that was contentious, or untrue. It will be interesting if it gets reinstated. However, I doubt it because it was off topic.

  9. I have just posted this on TOSblog. I wonder how long it will last? I hit the post button in error before I had the chance to polish it up.

"I have read that some so called celebrities occasionally tip off the paparazzi as to their whereabouts. This way the celebrity secures the publicity upon which they feed. That is why I like TOS. No such thing could ever happen with the Presenters there. They rely entirely upon there innate talent. Which I can appreciate must be hard going for them most of the time.

This blog seems to be changing and I do not know why. Most nights there a several football references that I do not understand. There have been no TOS items on football. Though I must confess that I know little of the game or its protagonists. Perhaps TOS could do and item on football for dummies. I would like that.

So to round off before I take to my bed and my ovaltine. The show was up to its usual standard tonight. There is not other show like it on TV. TOS brings pleasure to millions of viewers. I thought that Judi Dench was very interesting tonight."

  10. The football quips are on topic I suppose as AC is a footie man and CB is definitely scoring with one. Although if the press is to be believed,it's as if we didn't know about it. It's all very sad and stupid.

It's 0646 and I am listening to Steve Allen for the first time.
Takes a little bit of getting used to, but he is quite camp and very biting. Will continue to listen. Cheers!

  13. JH, your blog is still in place, I can only assume it went straight over the head of the serial complainer. The comments of mine which I expected to be moderated are also still there, perhaps the teaboy has nodded off!

  15. They certainly are. CB is getting it in the Sun as some TV company tried to set her up with her new bank manager and his ex, the mother of his two kids, and have her serve them both food on some TV Hells Kitchen programme. It is all too contrived and I guess they are both loving the attention.

  16. astroplums 1428.

I have just read the article on line. AS they say, there is no such thing as bad publicity.

I heard Steve Allen call AC, fat and scruffy this morning and went on about him wearing jeans on TV.
