WHO SAID THAT?

"The best way to take control over people and control them utterly is to take a little of their freedom at a time, to erode rights by a thousand tiny and almost imperceptible reductions. In this way the people will not see those rights and freedoms being removed until past the point at which these changes cannot be reversed.”

ADOLPH HITLER
I am still wound up from last night’s TOSblogging.

  1. I notice that tonight Kay Adams is going to see whether labour has lost its working class roots.
What is the betting that Kay Adams will conclude that Labour has no lost its working class roots?

Will we be told that the Tories are a party of toffs whereas Labour are for the honest working man?

I hope that I will be proved wrong.

I trust the Producer has learned a lesson from the last debacle.

Why does TOS dabble in politics. The Producer should leave that topic for the grown up programmes and concentrate on dogs wearing funny hats, Ac's beard and Cb's dresses.

  2. We are sleep walking into a facist police state, but unfortunately when your main concern is Corrie or Eastenders most people really care, or even notice, what is going on under their very noses. Maybe it is why these mind numbing soaps are on 5 days a week and repeated at weekends. Bit like being anesthetised!

  3. Kaye Adams and an item on Labour, lol, the BBC really like to rub it in.

  4. Strange comment son that show tonight. Not least Kaye Adams.

  5. Steve Wright has hardly had a mention. Wonder why. Good old Kaye Adams - she could get up anyones back.

I only read one mention about Steve Wright and that was about his appearance. I think AC has taken to wearing a jacket in the false hope that he looks smarter. It's not working.

Kaye Adams, what an infuriating woman. I would like to see Catherine Tate in her character the Nana take her on.

  7. Have any of you contacted BBC complaints, I can't believe that they used that harridan Adams YET AGAIN to promote the Labour Party.

Love that remark about Loose Women improving after Kaye Adams departed.

  10. Before I go - I noticed 'David' on TOSblog tonight. He made a brief appearance here a couple of weeks ago when he explained how the text changes colour when selected.

  11. I have lodged a complaint with BBC over last night's piece by Kaye Adams. It appears that on this occasion there have been fewer complaints. So I do expect that the BBC will cough to a bias.

  12. My post above should read, "..I do not.."

It's too early in the day for me to be typing.

  14. JH, I am so relieved to see your sense of humour surfacing again on the TOSblog. I was in fear of you spontaneously combusting.

  15. I see watchingone is again on the attack, can everyone ensure they pick up any insults that are lying around before he/she picks them up and adopts them. I can't be bothered to explain that I feel two items on the trot featuring the Labour Party could be construed as bias!

  16. jadeoldie, Your 1519: watchingone gets right up my nose. I am also annoyed with myself for being drawn in by him every time. It is a him I'm sure of that. He comes across as a smug self satisfied git.

  17. About watchingone: Oh yes, there is also an oleaginous manner to his replies when his opinion is challenged.
