L/Cpl Tasker with Theo, RIP

Tasker and Theo

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colours. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.

When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food, water and warm spring weather. The old and the frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day together.

There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up. The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!

You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.

  1. Hello, boys and girls. Trust you are all well. Shame TOS has so little for us to bitch about these days. Clear improvement!
I see in that tome of excellence, the DM, the Bleak one is now 'wing walking' (or sitting) her way to a little extra publicity. I'd love to know if Daybreak has increased its figures of late.

  2. Hi astro, good to hear from you, spot on about TOS, quite a pleasant half hour these days!!!!! If Heartbreak has increased its viewing figures, I despair for the human race, lol.

  3. Hi guys & gals. Are you still out there?

Just thought you might be interested to note that TOS has stirred up a hornets nest with the Indian actor guest they had on today (Thurs 19th May). Have a look at TOS's Facebook page for this show and see the responses from the Sikhs of this country. Not happy bunnies.

    Hope you are all well.

  4. Still here astro, struggling with the problem of fitting the contents of a five bedroom farmhouse [30 years of hoarding], into a two bedroom bungalow, any ideas, lol.

  6. astro, there is so much I don't know where to start! I have collected what are known as silver toys, [vesta cases, perfume bottles, fruit knives chatelaines, etc.] for many years now, and tomorrow a man comes to look at them. The bigger problem is caused by 36 clocks, from longcase to bracket, all of which chime. Lots of the stuff is going on to e-bay. The furniture is a nightmare, all great lumps of what is now sneeringly referred to as brown furniture, and rather unpopular.

The longcase & bracket clocks have me salivating. Any fob watches?

Let me know, seriously, when you they are up on Ebay and under what titles.

The whole thing seems like heaven, but I know when one is moving or getting rid of stuff it's not quite so easy - bloody hard in fact, both physically and emotionally.

  8. Jaded,

Hope you don't mind me asking like this, but I have a lady friend who is a collector of spoons, particularly silver hallmarked. Anything like that going on eBay/
