Avaricious, mendacious and stupid.

Avarice

….. “the prospect of being able to get the BBC and ITV to bid against each other to secure her services.”

Personally, I side with Mr Noel.

John, just finished reading this article and given it is from court papers then clearly it is not just a figment of some DM hack.

I find it extremely sad that the quick buck always seems to override long term success. In her case I think this point is proven, given that her popularity has waned dramatically. The 'wee hometown girl' now comes across as a disloyal money grabber. Her former agent sounds as if he had her best interests at heart.

I also read with dismay that she is about to front a new ITV prime time quiz show - I don't think her style or personality is suited to that format and if she fails to win viewers over in that, then I'm afraid she'll be heading to Holyhead for the first ferry back to to Belfast and she'll be forgotten, just as those who fell before her.

  2. No problems there astro, as long as Lampards wallet stays plump, and his credit cards are fully primed this "sweet Irish lass" is with us forever!

Nice to see that you are still on form.

As far as the Bleak one is concerned, she needs to remember that life can change in an instant, whilst trying to climb a mountain a fall is never far away.

  4. A bit more bull in the DM from Lampard about his 'hard working' Christine and gets a fair bit of stick for for his efforts in the comments column.

  5. This has to be the strangest piece. CB writes column for Daily Mirror. Self righteous excuses???

  7. I've just read CB's column. What a hypocrite she is. Her words ooze insincerity. Imagine, going with a man at 17 just because he's got money - tut, tut. CB would never do such a thing.

  8. Ms Bleakley asks what message the western world gives to young girls, I can help you dearie, take a long hard look at your moral stance over the past few years! Cheat, lie and manipulate to get the job you want, ditching people as you progress, never date or sleep with anyone who doesn't have millionaire status, and lose the scruples you claim you were born with.

I do think the generous smile hides a ruthlessly ambitious woman. Ambition is fine but not when coupled with sheer ruthlessness and I wait with interest to see the judges comments when her case with her ex agent comes to court.I don't think she will come out as the "wee hometown girl" then.

  10. Hello boys & girls! Trust you are all well. Little going on at the moment, apart from the odd newspaper piece with Ms Bleakley telling anyone who will listen that she is as humble today as she ever was and money was never a motivating factor in her life. Bollocks I say.

TOS is ticking along quite sensibly but got a lot of stick on its Facebook page over the fact that Cameron had done a party politcal broadcast from the sofa. Apart from that they appear to be staying away from the left wing rubbish of the last editor.

    Happy days.
