  2. I have been a bit preoccupied over the last few days. Then today my PC decided to reset itself and abandon all my settings. Well actually it was my fault.I have managed to fix it.

Is it me or have the TOS items become more informative and interesting. Maybe there is a new producer steering the show.

It's late and I am finding it difficult to get my brain into gear. I will have another go in the morning.

    Glad you are ok.

Quite agree, she has done herself proud.

  4. Hi jaded, good to see you back on the TOS blog and making me chuckle. Sorry to hear your aged one is in hospital. I hope that you will soon be reunited and that things will be on the 'up and up' very soon.

Hi JH, Glad all's well with you.

  5. Yes, well done Christine, remarkably you managed to keep your hair in place and make up in tact after 22 miles of water skiing. There's me, hardly worked up a sweat all day and still manage to look like I have been pulled through a hedge backwards. lol.

  6. oh dear, I think I have been blocked by TOS!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Danedweller

    Time for a new identity!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Yeah, thinking that myself! Have you taken out a new one

    ReplyDelete
  9. No, I had an old one which I occasionally use.

But don't use same email as per original identity.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Danedweller

What did you say tonight that so upset them?

    ReplyDelete
  11. No, I am just getting a yahoo one as I have blown my hotmail one LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I was banned last Friday. I left a posting on the old AC blog asking about should he keep his beard. I said no, he looked like someone who was sleeping in a doorway.

Then tonight I had to sign in and though it looked a bit strange then posted, agreeing with #1 and it came up as a new posting I was being moderated. Blasted cheek!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I seem to be up and running again, but I have another email address just in case, phew! thought I had blown it. lol.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Danedweller 2001

You are harsh on old AC. He's just a lad rebelling at his BBC masters. Remember he's not that well paid for what he does.

    ReplyDelete
  15. astroplums 2012

I seem to recall he said once that he was going to shave it off, maybe his salary doesn't run the the exhorbitant cost of razon blades.

I seem to be moderated after every posting so I have deleted my old user name account and awaiting for yahoo to get the new email address up and running.

Not much going on TOS blog tonight, they seem to be bickering about spelling now so that seems to indicate that the show was a bit flat tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  16. It was flat and a bit self congratulatory.

Would like to see a bit more from the wildlife quartet. (Miranda, Ellie, Dr George McGavin and the other bloke with the lisp). It's still trying to get over the CB month that we have all had to put up with.

Nothing contentious at all these days.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Danedweller

    your #2 & #5 have appeared!

    ReplyDelete
  18. astroplums 21.19
Yes, at last, but I seem to be moderated with each posting?

TOS has dropped all the regular contributors, as you say the wildlife quarted, and a few other irreular contributors. I suppose they have had to make way for the CB show this past month. With Lucy Siegel back tonight might be a sign of better things to come.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Sorry spelling seems to be all over the place, must be the grape pop.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Danedweller, seems that you have been a bad, bad girl tonight!! Have you been having and expressing opinions again, if so, off to the naughty step for you.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Danedweller, all your stuff is getting on now. Very strange delays!

As jadedoldie said you have clearly been a very naughty young lady.

    ReplyDelete
  22. jadeoldie. 21.46

My posting on NotTOS 15th 20.01 will explain why I have had hassle. More to do with being a bad girl at the weekend. I must have been either bored or on the GrapePop. My postings of last night all got posted but they were moderating each one before posting. lol.

Never mind there is more than one card up a sleeve!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Danedweller, well done, think I've seen your second card!

Bit of muck raking going on in the Sun online with CB. Dreadful pic of her as a wannabee. As an aside how many rich blokes has she been engaged to. The lump better watch his credit card!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. When I came back in I made the mistake of going through the papers online.

Sad pics of CB in Sun and worse still, in the DM she's on the steps of no.10 with that idiot who is supposed to be running the country. Mind you, interesting that the DM put CB article next to Lampard's ex's article. Naughty.

  25. astroplums 15.59

I had to post some mind numbing boring comment to get it passed the moderator.

Haven't looked on line at the papers today, I will take a look. Watching part 2 of Wonders of the Solar System instead of TOS. You just can't let quality pass you by.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Danedweller

Wonders of the solar system is a brilliant prog.

    ReplyDelete
  27. astroplums 2105.

It it is brillaint program but why am I not surprised that TOS has not had Prof Brian Cox on the show to publicise it, preferring to guest anybody who has a book, DVD, CD or a program on any other TV station to promote!

    ReplyDelete
  28. The mail on line have built Bleakley up in recent weeks, looks like they are now beginning to turn the knife since getting their hands on the wannabe photos.

  30. Danedweller 1622

Yes, it's incredible when you think that only a week or so ago, she had a full spread on the Mail on Sunday and they are now using the headline of that article to beat her with. Don't know if you read the many comments from readers, but many are truly vicious.

They clearly know something or are just readying themselves to stick the boot in. It may be that they either have or expect to have something on her footballer friend and sadly if that is the case then she will by association reap the 'rewards'. It was said during the JT debacle, that several others had injuctions against the press. Hope she doesn't get tarred by someone elses past.

    ReplyDelete
  31. So the beard is coming off! Apparently on Friday evening in aid of sports relief. So, this is the sum total of AC's excersie, having a shave! Blimey he is unfit.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Danedweller 1937

Last Sports relief he did cycle with Alan Shearer from N/castle to London.

    ReplyDelete
  33. astroplums 1937

Mmmmmmm, what are we talking about 300 or so miles, probably on a very expensive cycle equipped for the job? I would have been impessed if he walked it.

Seeing him out jogging with Christine in training said a lot about his fitness at the moment.

You are a good guy defending him though. I am just a bitter old woman.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Danedweller 2037

I'm not really defending him, just think he gets such a hammering and needs a little break.

    ReplyDelete
  35. LOL, He did make me laugh tonight and when I did I realised it was the first time ever I found him funny. It was when they showed a photo of Caroline Quentin kicking her legs up in the air. She looked embarassed and asked where they got the photo from and he said it was from his private collection.

Flunk on TOS blog made a very pertinent remark #57 did you notice it!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Danedweller 2116

It's a fair point and a sad reflection of the ever widening gap between rich and poor.

    ReplyDelete
  37. astroplums 2123.

Mrs Thatcher believed in the 'trickle down' effect. I am still waiting to feel a little bit of the trickle. Not happening for me. lol

    ReplyDelete
  38. Interesting debate going on TOS blog re possibility of blog being discontinued.(as per home page)

At least we have an outlet - never know, it may get very busy over here!

    ReplyDelete
  39. JH

note that that according to the hosts the TOS blog is closing as of the 25th March and they have invited all to posts links to any other forums discussing the show. We will get busy!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Well, an end to an era! Hopefully, we can get some of the regular TOS ERS on this blog to keep intouch, what a sad day!

We meed to put JH's blog link on TOS blog every night!

I think there will be a stink about this tonight on TOS blog.

    ReplyDelete
  41. looks like grapepop has affected spelling again. ooops.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I have been away for a couple of days. So thanks for steering me towards the fact that the producer has decided to close TOSblog. Maybe because there was too much trenchant negative criticism of the show. I have put our link up on TOSblog. Let's see who we get.

    ReplyDelete
  43. J.H. Nice to have you back - jaded has gone awol again - trust she is ok!

    ReplyDelete
  44. astroplums,

Maybe jaded has been busy looking after her 'aged one'. I hope jaded is not back in hospital again.

  46. TOS blogspot seems to be running out of steam tonight. Maybe the shock of the blog closing down, or maybe many regulars haven't posted because of SR fatigue.

Is there something on another channel I maybe missing? Time to channel hop.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Bad penny turns up again, lol. Aged one has been returned to the fold as I am now deemed fit enough to cope! It will be veeeeeery interesting to see which names pop up here when the TOSblog finally shuts its doors. The shows high ups may well have been despondent as to the lack of brown nosing on their blog, but I think it may be the start of some radical changes to TOS itself. The next few weeks may prove to be interesting!

  48. Sports Relief: What self indulgent claptrap!

  50. CB was obviously enjoying her WAG status amongst all the Zedlebrities, over loud and animated.

The sports relief blog spot is taking forever to publish postings despite the very low numbers contributing.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hi jaded.

I see you have tried a posting on the SR blog, the last posting was at 6.46, so I am assuming the moderator has gone home now! What is the point of a blog spot for a live show if it is ignored?

(in the voice of Catherine Tate's Nana) What a Liberty!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Danrdweller 2100

CB gurgling like a schoolgirl re her footballer boyfriend was awful.

    ReplyDelete
  53. astroplums 2122

I missed the start. I was watching Danish X factor, but 'im in doors' switched over to Sports Relief. From the little I saw and heard she was practically orgasmic with high profile status tonight.

Was she talking about her boy Frank?

    ReplyDelete
  54. I couldn't make out what the presenters of Sports Relief were saying, as the sound of them patting themselves and each other on the back was DEAFENING! Have forced the Aged one to switch it off.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Danedweller 21.12, the moderator has, I expect, crept off to the nearest wine bar, where he/she is spreading concealer over his/her spots before borrowing ID to purchase an illegal under-age drink!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Surely money be raised without all these self obsessed numpties?

A baying mob being made to behave like the brain dead audience on XFactor, presenters whose background is either a football pitch or various restaurants in Eire or N.I.combined to make my viewing such an unpleasant experience I left for the pub.

Some may love it, but I found that to be the worst TV imaginable.

What will Bleakley do now in order to keep her visage in the rags? Fame can be addictive and I watch her next moves with a cynical interest.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Jaded 2112

LOL. Im in doors couldn't stand more than about an hour. When the dog put his paws over his ears and eyes, we knew it was bordering on animal cruetly.

    ReplyDelete
  58. "Christine Bleakley water-skied 21 miles across the Channel and commendably raised around £250,000 for Sport Relief.

Yet with all the blubbing that went on afterwards on The One Show, you'd have thought she had walked to France.

I swear even Adrian Chiles cried - but that's probably because Christine wouldn't let him help her out of her wetsuit."

  59. JH 1202

Also a dig at her in the Daily Express suggesting "even now as a Wag,if asked about football tactics she would think it was a small mint"

    ReplyDelete
  60. My posting on BBC Sport (sports relief blog) was removed because I posted you could earn between 80,000 and 120,000 pounds per year, plus a sizeable pension pot working for Charity Projects, the umbrella name for Sports relief and Comic Relief. Seems like they are very sensitive about how the money in spent on their high administration costs.

    ReplyDelete
  61. On the evening of sports relief, I didn't see CB waterskiing. 'Im in doors watched some of the programme, whilst reading at the same time. I asked him if he saw the coverage on SR of CB skiing. He had to think for a few moments then replied. 'Oh, that was waterskiing, I thought some poor bitch was being waterboarded!'

    ReplyDelete
  62. Danedweller

Hope you saw the latest edition of The Solar System (Sunday). Brilliantly informative programme in plain English.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Astroplums 22.05

Will be catching up with it on Tuesday on rerun.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Sports Relief is now mercifully a fading memory, CB and her bloody water skis are hopefully history, sadly the TOS blog is about become redundant and worst of all...the bloggers have disappeared.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Yes, astroplums, once again the BBC have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and annihilated a popular and enjoyable service! I often wonder what their remit actually is, as obviously to entertain, amuse and inform is NOT on the agenda!!!! PS, if CB's waterskis are where they belong she will never walk again, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  66. jajed 17.25.

I thought CB was shifting uncomfortably from side to side on the sofa tonight LOL:

    ReplyDelete
  67. Danedweller 1934

Are you suggesting that her perceived centre of attraction had shifted somewhat or does she have piles?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Astroplums 2009

LOL. I don't think it is piles, unless we are talking about the pile of dosh she is sitting on courtesy of the BBC licence payers.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Sky Viewer seems to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the musical pieces used on TOS.

    ReplyDelete
  70. JH

Hope you don't think I am being over demanding, but would ask, if possible, can we have a new picture, new heading for the new start on Thursday? Whilst I agree that CB did well on her channel challenge, I am, sadly, getting tired of this ubiquitous wannabee.

I am hoping that changes in the TOS website, herald a revamped TOS programme and hope our blog continues to draw attention to TOS's highs & lows. At least if we have criticisms, the mods won't be allowed to intervene.
