The DM articles implies that AC left TOS in a huff of his own accord. I still subscribe to the belief that the BBC engineered his departure.
Last night’s TOS felt refreshing and new.

The thought that we have weeks of BBC experimentation with presenters is depressing.
ReplyDeleteThe show is weak and disjointed and they should have the guts to just put a presenter in AC's place and be done with it.
New 'trial' presenters only serve to make TOS look amateurish and puts a pointless strain on CB to act as if nothing has changed.

I saw that DM link and so many people have been linked with AC's job I think most are probably spurious.
I see another DM link at the moment with CB and and Flunk bigging it up at the Dorchester again. Shhe's obviously forgotten the starving in Africa. Maybe she could give them a night out in the Ivy.
Perhaps AC occasionally looked a scruff, but PM exceeded all expectations.

Enjoyed Mike Dilinger's bird item. PM was ok but a very strange choice as a TOS presenter. The guest appeared to be a side attraction.
Paul Merton made me laugh. CB handled herself well No,that is not a double entendre. I thought she handled her part in the show with skill. Paul Merton is not easy. CB could become a polished performer, if she tries. Of course she may simply aspire to be a 'celebrity' and then more fool her.
ReplyDeletePaul Merton did what AC so often tried to do, without success because AC does not have the talent. Paul Merton poked gentle fun at the show but respected and encouraged the guests.

ReplyDeleteHe's certainly no gentleman. However, I find her coyness about their relationship most strange. Carefully constructed attention seeking is my take on it.
TOS tonight at least managed to concentrate on the guests.
