The BBC seem to care little for actual talent. They just want to make sure that ITV don’t get her. Let her go elsewhere. There are more talented performers out there who will do a better job for a lesser fee. The public are fickle and would soon forget her.

One's very own BBC chat show: Bumper solo deal lined up for Christine Bleakley after Adrian Chiles quits | Mail Online

On her way back from the bank. Good job she’s got the muscles for it. CB - muscles

  1. Reading the DM blog on the article she has few fans and most fail to understand why the BBC are bending over backwards to keep what one person described her as an airhead who reads an autocue.

She would be well advised to remember the previous chat show disasters i.e. Divina Mccall and Charlote Church. Both dropped because they lacked the gravitas to pull it off.

  2. The point is that she presented TOS for some time before she started hitting the rags, particularly the DM and it is only since her relationship with a certain footballer player that interest in her has risen. No doubt her agent is having ball using her and FL's tie-up to raise her profile. Just wait till she makes a slip or FL plays away from home - she will be full of regrets.

It is now verging on the absurd, in that the NOTW is now suggesting that she will be getting 800,000 a year from the BBC.

Jay Hunt must be devoid of imagination if she feels that one presenter can do so much for the Beeb. CB's pleasant enough on TOS, but if the Sports Relief gig was anything to go by then I would suggest to Jay Hunt - Horses for courses (no pun intended!)

  3. Had a look at your link. What a load of cobblers. Agree with Danedweller, the posters on the DM site have few good words to say about her.

  4. I say again - there are many out there who will do a better job for a lesser fee. Why not search among the thousands of out of work actors. At least they have the training. There is nothing in anyway special or out of the ordinary about CB.

I believe that my licence fee can be better spent elsewhere.

Let CB go to ITV. The Licence Payer will not miss her.

Agree with you. Wish TV companies would have the balls to just try out new faces.

A carefully constructed media circus has built up around CB. She appears as if butter wouldn't melt in her mouth but I think that persona hides an immensely ruthless and cynical personality. It's always too good to be true for me.

I believe much of the garbage in the press will turn out to be a damp squib. She can then give us all a break and spend Flunks illgotten money.

  6. CB now appears as a self-serving and predatory woman whose talent is only equalled by that spoiled brat Chloe Madeley! The BBC is obviously of the opinion that a pair of boobs, long and over exposed legs and the ability to stand upright maketh the presenter!!! I don't much care if the presenters are male, female or undecided, if they are merely blessed with the power to articulate, and carry a thought for ten seconds. This has so far not been the case with TOS presenters, other than the odd stand-in.

  7. Ah. The Chelsea celebrations bring out the wags! (DM online)

Strange to be on the pitch with your kids, hand them back to mother and then off with your bird. Maybe I just old fashioned.

Still at least she was in the company of reality TV 'stars' whose achievements have been absolutely zero.

    Not attractive pictures CB.

See what you mean about the pics of CB! The press have turned on Katie Price and Kerry Katona, CB next?

  9. Suggestions of Andrew Castle replacing AC is kicking off some negative comments on the DM blog about the possibility of the swop.

Described as a tit for tat move by the BBC, one witty blogger suggested that a coulple of Ws had been left out, lol.

Just looked at the 'Andrew Castle' piece and comments. They certainly don't want him.

I think the press is just making most of this stuff up.

  11. The Express is recycling everything that is in other papers and the DM continue to have a mickey take with the latest on-line pics...love the "bedraggled CB leaves FL's house this morning".

She must be overjoyed with all this publicity her relationship with the Lump as brought.

  12. For two people in love CB & FL never look very happy when they are photographed together.

  13. Find it very odd that CB, who spent most of her time wearing skirts on the show and was never averse to showing her pins, has only worn a skirt once in the last month. Of course she can wear what she wants, but I do find her reversal of taste strange in the extreme.

You're right. FL in paricular is a miserable git in photos with her.

Do you know when the lairy C. Evans is due to start on the Friday gig? The guy that is leaving for GMTV has not stopped long. Maybe it's all going pear-shaped!

Not sure when Evans starts, can't be long now. We'll have to wait and see what Evans gets up before saying it goes pearshaped. But he and the BBC havn't done themselfs any favors. Also now AC has gone CB got to prove she's more then a sidekick with a pretty face.
