Last year’s TOS Christmas Party edition, with its so called stars Chiles and Bleakley, was for me a toe curling embarrassment. It was TV at it’s patronising worst. It insulted the intelligence of its audience.
How different was last night. In my opinion, last night’s Christmas Party edition of TOS was well produced, written, directed and presented. It was a perfect show for the early evening slot. It gave me a warm comfortable feeling throughout. Last night the show was the star and not its presenters and contributors; and that is the way it should be. This was the BBC at its best.

I do agree that the whole thing (apart from Lady Ginsters) is so much better and at least the presenters are not becoming the focal point.
Interesting reading Chris Evan's Twitter page. Speaks very highly of Alex Jones. Nice to see.
