What the well dressed man is wearing.

AC - Sartorial elegance

Off he goes then with a hoppity-skip to buy an alarm clock.

As ever the epitome of sartorial elegance - A real babe magnet.

Was it purely coincidental that the photographer pictured him beside a skip.

  1. I recommend this article from today's Daily Telegraph. It says what for months I have been trying to say but lacked the talent to do so.

Thanks for the link. As Pop Larkin would say Perfick.

I loved the discription 'His expression was gloomier than a dog having a bath'.

AC going over to GMTV seems to have upset a lot of GMTV viewers reading through the comments posted on DM.

  5. Sorry for all the deletes, having a bad day!

If AC ever wondered why CB never found him as attractive as he found her, this photographs sums it up.

  6. Still, he's laughing at us on a Million a year. TV presenting - money for old rope.

  7. How dare Rowan take the p**s out of Eeyore by comparing AC to him, lol. Super article! Thanks for the giggle JH.

  9. Christine, hope you didn't pay good money for those shoes. You could do the garden in those.

  10. CB legs are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Not the usual yardage though

  12. astroplum 19.22

Probably on orders from frank not to show to much leg.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I hope AC won't be picking his nose on morning TV, could turn some off their breakfast.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Jimmy Carr was good value - nice little pop at AC's departure.

CB's got the fake tan going on in the leg department.

Yes, poor old Flunk is well known for being a bit possesive and insecure. With a bit of luck she'll turn up in a burqa.

    ReplyDelete
  16. flunk 1931

There was a lot of squirming in the seat at the mention of working 5 days.

I think AC was on tenderhooks most of the evening. He was over the top in warning Jimmy Carr about being live before the poor guy opened his mouth.

  17. I see that the BBC are making Richard Hammond favourite to take over from AC. He is a midget and is going to look stupid next to Bleakley. Apparently Rav Wilding the ex copper is in the running. God, does he love himself.

My we are getting short of talent if these numpties are in the frame.

Might turn out to be a case of "better the devil you know..."

  18. oh hell, not those two. Please come back AC.

  19. If you want a laugh about TOS replacements for AC, have a look at this link.

  21. Astroplums, Your link at 21:09,
Mathew Wright or Alan Titchmarsh for me. Wogan would be good.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Mathew Wright fine, Nicky Campbell never - thinks he is funny and just isn't.

But Titchmarsh or Wogan - they should be out to grass, too old!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Please don't let's swop AC for AT, AC wriggled and squirmed at any sexual connotation, whereas AT can't get enough of it on the AT Show. He will have that Sexpert Julie Peasegood on holding something in her hand that is buzzing. Might get old CB excited though.

    ReplyDelete
  24. The publicity being generated with the AC departure is depressing. Chris Evans has now lost the plot and now believes he rules the world, if the Mirror is right.

If the Friday show is a flop, Evans & Jay Hunt are going to look exremely stupid and deservedly so.

Whilst I normally don't feel any empathy with overpaid and overrated TV presenters, I do feel a bit sorry for CB in getting embroiled in something that she didn't create. Go girl, go to pastures new.

    ReplyDelete
  25. astroplums, Your 17:21 of 21/4: It would appear that AC does not use his inflated salary to enhance his wardrobe.

    ReplyDelete
  26. More publicity in the DM online for the becoming
    ubiquitous CB with Flunk.

Interesting that the resaurants she now gets 'caught' at are a little more down market than the Dorchester, which she got papped at whilst begging us to send our fivers in for Sports Relief. Long may your slumming continue,CB.

    ReplyDelete
  27. CB was talking about moving to pastures new some weeks ago (probably encouraged by her friend AH). I wonder why she didn't take the opportunity to go to GMTV with AC if she was really serious. Now the BBC are so desperate to keep her on TOS, she will be able to negotiate a huge rise in her contract when it comes due quite soon.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Fascinating, CB who normally wears skirts, had not worn one for many days until last night and is then photographed with FL wearing said skirt. Tonight, it's back to trousers again...not seeing Francis tonight CB?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Who wants to look at feet?

    ReplyDelete
  30. CB's shoes smacked of the donna matrix, the same shoes she was wearing last night whilst out on the town with FL.

    ReplyDelete
  31. andy 1924

Someone with a foot fetich! lol

    ReplyDelete
  32. Danedweller 1948

Yes, she wore them yesterday on the show - donna matrix? ?Que?

    ReplyDelete
  33. The 'Wire', now that was a great programme.

Andy, the feet thing...well, I do love beautiful feet, but so few women possess them, as most have been knackered with silly shoes.

Ugly feet and bad nails are awful. No need for close ups at seven o'clock.

  34. Stick to the football, Terry.

  35. Dr Ruth, glad she is not mine!!

  36. Not a spark of life.

TOS is in its death throws.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Flunk 19.50
Don't worry Flunk Chris Evans will save it with his likable personality and self deprecating wit.

    ReplyDelete
  38. gaz911

It's going to be car crash TV in the early evening.

I see that Evans has started bragging already.

Methinks that Jay Hunt will finally get caught out with this cock up.

    ReplyDelete
  39. 20.33 flunk
Yes Evans last few TV projects have died the death so I can see it all going a bit pete tong. Also you have to remember they can't just match the ratings they have now, they have to beat them or what would be the point.Another thing is how CB gets on with Evans?

    ReplyDelete
  40. gaz911

Yes, the chemistry has to work with CB.

Just watching Marco on ITV - FL's previous wag and mother of his two kids is on. Not a bad looking bird.

    ReplyDelete
  41. This is from the DM writing about Adrian Chiles' new life at ITV:

"He will not only present GMTV five days a week – but will also be the anchor their football coverage, including Champions League matches and England’s home internationals and the FA Cup.

A TV source revealed: ‘Nobody really knows how Adrian’s going to do it. It’s a big investment by ITV but they are going to make sure they get every cent they can out of him. He’s going to be shattered.’"

I get the impression maybe unfairly that AC does not relish hard work.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Does anyone know when Chris Evans will start?

    ReplyDelete
  43. JH
I believe it is the first Friday in May.

No doubt there will be masses of pre publicity for the halfwit. As the man on Dads Army used to say - We are all doooomed!

    ReplyDelete
  44. If you look at CE radio and TV career they are all short. I hope it's the same with TOS, I wonder if zig and zag will appear with him?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Amanda Platell has a nasty little dig at CB in today's DM. Surely not suggesting that she's a gold digger!

"Adrian Chiles has quit the BBC in a huff and joined ITV on a £6million deal. Now that he's earning footballerstyle wages, do you think he stands a chance with Christine Bleakley?"

    ReplyDelete
  46. Stone me, is the stuff in the Sunday rags for real? According to the Mail on Sunday CB got the jitters about having to meet the bosses at the BBC and was then told by her boyfriend, allegedly,if you 'ave any problems, tell them Frank will ring'. Yea, right Lampard, you now run the Beeb. You half-witted prat.

    ReplyDelete
  47. 00.49 astroplums

I nearly choked on my cornflakes when I read that about what Lampard allegedly said.I very much doubt he said it.I think its just the newspapers trying to drive a wedge between Christine and Adrian.

    ReplyDelete
  48. gaz911 1138

You are right in that the DM is probably stirring it. But who knows the truth with articles like that.

On the other side there is an interesting piece by Piers Morgan in one of the Mail on Sundays magazines . "Live" I think. In that he puts a completely different picture on the AC situation.

I do think it is too easy to make AC the whipping boy in all this, although with a paypacket of 1.5 million per annum things aren't that bad.

AC & CB two highly driven people, possibly not always for the right reasons - difficult pairing now!

    ReplyDelete
  49. 13.39 astroplums
I have to say if anything AC's probably winning the spin war.I think the BBC and Chris Evans are ones being made to look petty. If this new One show format goes tits up after it being success beforehand, there'll be more heads on the chopping block then the french revolution.

    ReplyDelete
  50. gaz911 1424

    Yes, you're absolutely right.

I have great misgivings about CE as I think he will try to dominate the show. Whatever CB may think now, she has to play a very canny hand to win the game when up against CE's ego.

    ReplyDelete
  51. TOS in fractured, whether it can be fixed after the AC/CE debarcle is very doubtful. If CE doesn't attract the viewers the Beeb are expecting or believing he can bring to the show I think heads will roll. CB has to renew her contract at the end of this year, giving her plenty of time for the TOS senario to play itself out or for the Beeb to offer her something new, before signing a new contract

With the new presenter ???? and CE coming on board it is going to be a very interesting few weeks. I think the fracture will be problematic and may never be repaired.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Don't know if CB's management have a deal with the DM or MoS, but The Mail on line is currently (1800hrs)running 3 stories, mostly pointless, on CB. She must be wetting herself with joy at the publicity, mindless publicity, she is currently getting.

Strange that wherever she bowls up, at the moment, a camera just happens to be there.

    No co-incidence then CB!

    ReplyDelete
  53. It'll be interesting on Friday, to see if the BBC will be big enough to let AC say his goodbyes or if they will stifle him. I imagine Jay Hunt will have him censored. Heard a recording of her on a previous RL5 interview. She is someone who is never wrong and so up herself that words would not describe her.

    ReplyDelete
  54. What luck, a cameraman just happened to be there when she was handing out money to a so called 'deserving cause!. Just so contrived.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I am glad you take pride in what you write. This makes you stand way out from many other writers that push poorly written content.
